Immanuel Children and Youth

Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Mark 10:14)

Children, youth and their families are one of the key centres around which Immanuel operates.

Family Service - with participation by our children

Join us at 10:00 am on Sunday, December 11th for a new family service for Christmas.

Sunday School

We are thrilled to start back to Sunday school after an amazing summer off. Classes began on Sunday, September 11.

We have two groups this year.  We have a class for those from 3-9 years of age, and another for those 10 and older. At this time, there is no nursery, but parents with small children are invited to join us anytime! We hope to have a nursery program up and running in early 2023.

The schedule for Sunday School is normally every Sunday at 10:00 am from September to June with a break over Christmas.  The children come into church and stay for the children's message and then go upstairs.  They return to church for communion.

We will be doing something special in church for Christmas on Sunday, December 11th.

We have a lot of fun and exciting events planned for this year. Hope to see you soon!

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact me at 306-501-7364 or email

Children's Garden (2022)

In the spring of 2022, we built a raised bed along the south side of the church hall and invited children to come on Tuesdays at 10 or after school on Wednesdays to plant, take care of it, and then harvest.  This program was made possible by a grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada and their Say Yes! To Kids initiative.  Check out 3 articles in our news area about the garden
